Who we are

Our Story

AMG began with a simple conviction held by Dr. S. John David and his wife, Dr. Satyavedam—that as God’s children, we are called to care for those in need, without discrimination.
From a small initiative in 1968, the mission grew rapidly as several global visionaries extended their support:

Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, Founder-President of AMG International, USA, became the first donor and partner.

Dr. H. H. Deichmann, Founder of Wort & Tat, Germany, joined in 1977 and later became the chief donor.

Over the years, organizations like WoordenDaad (Netherlands), KindernotHilfe (Germany), Christoffel Blinden Mission (Germany) and many individual supporters strengthened the mission. Together, these partnerships helped expand AMG’s services to thousands of villages and towns, bringing hope and dignity to the most marginalized communities
