Our Leaders
Dr. S. John David (1926–) founded AMG India with a deep commitment to serve the poor, hungry, sick, and marginalized. His early life of hardship shaped a lifelong mission of compassion. After serving in the Army and later working in telecommunication services, he dedicated himself full-time to social service—preaching, healing, and supporting vulnerable communities.
With the support of his wife, Dr. Satyavedam, whose earnings funded the initial work, he began caring for poor children in 1968. What started with 20 children grew into one of India’s leading NGOs, serving communities across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu.
His legacy continues through AMG’s work in healthcare, education, child welfare, elderly care, and disaster relief—uplifting thousands every year
A gold-medalist scholar and former senior banking professional, Dr. A.K.K. Mohanty transitioned from a successful banking career to full-time service with AMG in 1996. Inspired by AMG’s mission and personally connected through family, he brought organizational excellence, administrative discipline, and compassionate leadership to expand AMG’s impact across regions.
He continues to lead AMG India with a strong focus on transparency, operational excellence, and mission-driven growth.
